I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. When I was a little girl I remember telling my mom that someday when I grew up I wanted to have an accent.
She cleverly replied that I would have an accent if I moved somewhere else in the world.
Now I am married to a wonderful guy and I’m a dental hygienist. And here I am in Singapore, living my childhood dream with my American accent.
Soon I will move back to the US and therefore, loose my accent. But I will continue traveling and enjoying almost everything that comes my way. Including the teeth that I clean when I’m at work.
